With some of the Triggered abilities they sound like 'protectives', in that you take a hit and then something happens in response automatically. Others sound like you might have to do something. So, for instance, the defensive for gunslingers is Triggered Truestrike 3. If I call that defense, do they just get hit automatically, or do I have to then turn and shoot them? Are they all automatic, or are some of them different from others?

All of them are automatic, so with that ability, if you were hit, you would automatically shoot them in the torso with a truestrike 3. Side note, if you have buffs to damage, those do add in. It is truestrike 3 with a base pistol.

A couple more questions
1. Can I have multiple triggered effects on my person at once if they come from different sources and what counts as a "source"
2. If I can have multiple triggered effects on me can I only call one of them per strike or do they all go off at once?
As an example.
There is a triggered effect from my martial school, a couple triggered effects from air magic and a couple triggered effects from shadow magic. Could I have both the air skin and the shadow skin up? Can I have different triggered air spells up (lesser air skin and whirlwind cloak)
When I am struck do I just choose one of my triggered effects to go off per strike or can I burn all my triggered effects in a single shot?

Another question on them - do I have to be taking a wound to use them, or simply be hit with an attempt to damage me? Do they trigger on ranged as well?

my understanding is that we have to take the hit (ie they can not be blocked or dodged) that damage however can be taken on any form of resiliance.

Guy is correct, and no you do not use them on Ranged, expect clarification on that in the next update.
